How to USE SOF-GRIP
Quick & Easy Fix!
PLEASE READ ALL DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
Instructions:
1. Thoroughly wash and
dry dentures, taking care
to remove all previously
applied fixative and liner,
if applicable.
2. Gently squeeze a
steady stream of resin
onto the fitting surface of
the denture, using about
half of the syringe per
denture. For lower
dentures, apply
the product to the gum
channel. For upper
dentures, apply
the product to the gum
channel and in a zig-zag
pattern across the
palette. Note: Be sure to
use at least 2.5g for full
upper dentures for the
best adhesion.
3. With wet fingers, spread the resin over the denture.Smooth the material out evenly.
4. Warm the denture in a cup or bowl of hot tap water for 30 minutes. Do not microwave the denture or use boiling water.
5. Remove the denture from water and re-spread the fixative over the denture surface to ensure an even coating.
6. Place denture in mouth and with clenched teeth, move jaws side to side 5 times and then gently clench teeth for an additional 2 minutes.
7. Remove denture from mouth and wipe off any surplus resin with wet fingers.
8. Finally, rinse mouth and denture (Figure 6) with cool water before placing denture back in mouth.
Important:
Denture must be soaked in hot water for 30 minutes before fitting in mouth. After initial application, wear the denture continuously for at least 8 hours. Do not eat for 3 hours. Sof-Grip can be easily removed and if necessary, a fresh quantity may be applied. For persistent denture problems, please consult your dentist.
Storage:
After use, securely replace cap and store in a cool, dry place to save for a second reline.
Tips:
• Sof-Grip emits a rather distinct taste and smell during the application process, which will diminish with time. If it persists after 24 hours of regular wear, add 1 teaspoon of Baking Soda to 1 cup of warm water, and soak the denture for ten minutes to help remove any taste or smell. Alternatively, soak denture in your usual denture cleaner following their instructions.
• One syringe (5g) is enough material for one full upper denture and one full lower denture.
• For full upper dentures, make sure to use at least half of the syringe (2.5g) for best adhesion.
• For a longer-lasting, professional quality reline option, try Dentemp Reline-It.
